About the Facilty

Meaghan (Raynes) Slack is an Indianapolis native and a 2004 graduate of Perry Meridian High School.  She attended and played softball (P, SS, 2B) for Lake Land Junior College in Mattoon, IL, graduating in 2006 with an Associate degree in Business.  She went on to complete her college playing career at D1 IUPUI, and dominated as both a starting pitcher and shortstop. Meaghan graduated in 2008, earning a BS degree with a double major in Marketing and Supply Chain Management.   She began her college coaching career as an Assistant Coach at D1 Butler University in 2010, and during the 4 years she coached for Butler, Meaghan had the opportunity to develop relationships with the best of the best coaches in the nation.  She still has those connections today. Meaghan has also worked with local coaches Scott Hall, Maggie Calcaterra, Owen Chew, Denny Throneburg, Joe Kriech, Cara Johnson-Hirsch, and Mike Morris. 

Meaghan has been giving lessons since she was 16 while working and learning from her father and the many great coaches that she has had in the past.  She loves being able to share the love of the game with female athletes who now want to live their dream of playing softball.  Meaghan is currently the co-owner of TLR Softball Training Center, located on the south side of Indy, and teaches pitching and hitting to both individual athletes and teams.
